In our last lesson before summer break, we spoke to the children about the important mitzvah of “Love thy neighbour as thyself” / “ואהבת לרעך כמוך”
In these turbulent times, we spoke of the importance of kindness, acceptance and care towards our friends, family and wider society. The children’s activity was to draw pictures of each other, and do so with care and kindness, just as they would like to be drawn by others.
We finished our year with a party, with music played by our children and lovely food.
