This Passover you will be able to make and design a seder plate that is the focal point of the first two nights of Passover.
Your design will help to tell the story of Exodus through the senses of sight, taste, and feeling.
The First workshop – 1.5 hours 10am- 11:30 am on Wednesday 12th March.
For this workshop participants will learn hand building and sculpting techniques by rolling out slabs and forming the clay to shape your Seder plate design.
Participants will also sculpt or add any D3 decoration or textures during this session.
The Second workshop – 1.5 hours 10am-11:30 am on Wednesday 19th March.
For this workshop you will finish and decorate your work with coloured slips and underglazes.
Once you have finished your work our ceramic technician will fire and clear glaze your work.
This will make your Seder plate durable and ready to use.
Please email the shul office if you are interested in joining these workshops. They are open to all.
