On Tu B’shvat we had an “Edible Art” activity for the cheder children.
We discussed the meaning of this holiday and the seven species etc.
The children designed trees that we learnt about in the poster in the photo, and also as the imagination took them.
We used dates, figs, grapes, pomegranate, almonds and more to create these.
We had a date tree and a pomegranate tree etc.
It was great fun to learn about Tu B’shvat.
